Mechanical Piping Foreman

SPRINGDALE, AR

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping Foreman to lead field crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial piping systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver high‑quality work safely and efficiently.



Essential Duties:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily activities of piping crews.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Ensure work is completed according to project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee installation, assembly, testing, and inspection of mechanical and process piping systems.
  • Manage material needs and coordinate with procurement and project management.
  • Interface with contractors and clients to maintain schedule and quality expectations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members.
  • Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and documentation.


Environmental, Physical, and Mental Requirements

  • Exposure to varying outdoor conditions, loud noise, dust, toxic chemicals and materials, varying fumes or odors; slippery or uneven walking surfaces; and work in ditches/excavations
  • Work at heights, such as by working on ladders, scaffolds, platforms, tops of single and multi-story buildings, as well as working in confined spaces such as underneath single story and multi-story buildings
  • May lift and carry heavy objects 5-25 pounds frequently, 25-50 pounds often, 50-100 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks and body movements including standing and/or walking for long periods of time, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting, and carrying
  • Must be able to complete job duties proficiently while adapting to changing demands and priorities
  • Must have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time to perform duties in a safe manner
  • This position is subject to ergonomic testing


Safety Sensitive

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position because it includes as part of the job duties operating a motor vehicle, the operating, maintaining, and monitoring of heavy equipment and machinery, and working with and around hazardous materials, at heights, and in confined spaces. This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of the employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while operating a motor vehicle, operating, maintaining, and monitoring heavy equipment and machinery, and while working with and around hazardous materials, at heights, and in confined spaces.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of mechanical piping experience, including at least 2 years in a foreman or crew‑lead role.
  • Proven proficiency with: steam systems, chilled water systems, hydronic piping systems, compressed air piping, sanitary piping systems, and various process piping systems.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in industrial, commercial, and construction environments.
  • Valid driver’s license required; OSHA 30, NCCER, or related certifications are a plus.
