Foreman - Electrical

SPRINGDALE, AR

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate activities with administrators, field supervisors, the public, and co-workers, and perform work within his/her trade certification when required.
  • Initiate discussions and seek solutions on a regular basis concerning work-related issues such as design conflicts, cost variance and personnel conflicts.
  • Review work requests to determine personnel requirements, procure necessary materials, ensure tools and equipment are available, and adhere to the schedule provided by the customer and/or project manager.
  • Respond effectively to inquiries or concerns from the customer.
  • Obtain weekly cost reports and other administrative requirements from the customer within specified timelines.
  • Complete daily field reports and JSA’s.


Education & Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Minimum Arkansas Journeyman’s License required.

Skills & Experience

  • Working knowledge of: 
    • Design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
    • Standards, practices, materials, tools and equipment used for the construction, repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds or equipment in his/her area of expertise
    • Job related safety regulations and techniques
  • A basic understanding of department operating budget(s)
  • A current valid driver’s license is required

Other Potential Tasks

  • Willingness to travel, long term or short term, is preferred but not required.
  • Overtime and weekend work
