Press Brake Operator

Fort Smith, AR

Essential Duties

  • Setup and document tooling and safe practices for press brake operations
  • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
  • Maintain accurate parts & motivation on repetitive jobs, maintain cleanliness of machine, maintain all required tolerances and quality
  • Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications
  • Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operations

Education & Training

  •  High school diploma or equivalent, required

Skills & Experience

  •  Strong mathematical skills and demonstrate a competency in the use of fractions and decimals
  •  Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
  •  Ability to measure and work with tight tolerances
  •  A current valid driver’s license is required
  •  Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
